Our staff will be attending the Dontyne Gears Booth #237227 in the North Hall to promote our range of design, prototyping, and testing services at IMTS, Chicago, September 10th. They will be explaining how the design and manufacturing capabilities at our Washington facility can be applied to improving production processes. Novel designs and materials, including tool design and inspection protocols, can be soon tested and validated in our test rigs to be commissioned within the next 6 months.
We will also be promoting recent additions to the Gear Production Suite from Dontyne Systems. There has been a strong emphasis this year on novel designs and improved manufacturing simulations with communication to machine tools and inspection equipment in line with Industry 4.0 to enable improved product and production capability. Some items new for IMTS will be;
- Asymmetric design and FE of spur & helical
- Beveloid design
- Skiving manufacturing simulation
- Honing manufacturing simulation
- Face Mill generation of bevels in 5-axis
- CMM simulation of measuring gears without rotary table
